Curious about some of the recent books by distinguished scholars about the historical Jesus? Interested in exploring progressive Christian faith and practice? Janie and John Harrison will be co-facilitators for a discussion group dealing with these and similar subjects which will meet Tuesday evenings at 7pm beginning April 27 in the Fellowship Hall. The first meeting will be a sharing of possible books which the group might read and discuss. If you have questions or suggestions, please talk with Janie or John.

A church-wide chili and soup lunch will be sponsored by the United Methodist Women on Sunday, October 18, in the Fellowship Hall from 11:00 A. M. to 1:00 P. M. Free-will donations will be accepted, and the proceeds will benefit various United Methodist Women projects. |

Adminstrative Council and Trustee Training Event |

Sunday evening, October 4, from 6:00 to 7:00 P. M. in the Fellowship Hall, there will be a training event for all of the Trustees and the Administrative Council led by Rev. David Hoffman. Rev. Hoffman is the Lawyer of North Central District and also serves as pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Conway. Please make attending this event a priority. Administrative Council will meet at 7:00 P. M. following this training event. |
